CUBIST CONFERENCE TABLES
Designer Norman Diekman states:
"My ideas for furniture are anchored in the belief that good design embodies subtle relationships of proportion, scale and craft towards the human experience of 21st Century work and living. To this end, I find inspiration within contemporary art and culture. In this case, a commission from Tuohy, a company fully recognized for its fine sensitivity to the 'craft of wood'.”

GENEVIEVE LOUNGE
Design by John Nelson and new for NEOCON 2010!. The designer's description: "Solid and soft. Classic and contemporary. Simple and sophisticated. Balance and harmony.
The Genevieve Lounge Chair is all of these things and more. Its inspiration is rooted in the International style. The classic detailing is most prominently displayed in a beautifully intricate metal frame, which wraps the sides and back as a flush reveal, and joins the wood and the upholstery components in a marriage of opposites that coexist in perfect harmony. The metal element carries through and terminates with stylish grace and strength at the base as four full-depth exposed legs." |

INTERNATIONAL II LOUNGE
Designer John Nelson on the International II lounge design:
"The balance of upholstery and wood and the elegantly simple squared edge upholstery serve as a perfect foil to the clean-line aesthetic of the chair. The forms of metal and fabric unite in a manner that is innovative and refreshing yet flexible enough to work in a broad spectrum of interior styles. Every detail of every angle has been meticulously considered so that the lounge looks good from anywhere in the room and the quality of its craftsmanship is abundantly clear whether it’s being utilized or simply admired." |
