Fabric and leather upholsteries are graded into all pricing for seating products. Customers may choose from Tuohy upholstery lines, partnership products, and COM/COL.


A. TUOHY UPHOLSTERY PRODUCTS

B. PARTNERSHIP PRODUCTS

Presently, Tuohy has partnership programs with KnollTextiles and Maharam such that their upholstery products are graded into Tuohy's pricing. Please see the documents KnollTextiles.pdf and Maharam.pdf for program information. Additional programs with other industry suppliers will be announced in the near future.


C. COM/COL

Tuohy accepts all COM fabric selections for consideration on its products. To verify suitability of your selection, refer to our Upholstery Analysis Program where test results on most COM upholsteries are available; inquire with Customer Service for details. Upholsteries not listed must be submitted for approval prior to acceptance of an order; submit a 12" x 12" sample prior to entering your order.

COM yardage requirements and COL square footage requirements are shown throughout this price list. These requirements are based on upholstering one unit; inquire about actual requirements on quantity orders. Fabric and vinyl requirements are based on 54" wide material with no repeat pattern. Material will be used as it comes off the roll. Requests for railroading your material may be subject to surcharge; fabric panels that are railroaded will have a seam if the application width is greater than the roll width. Additional yardage may be required if patterns require matching; the following is presented as a guide only (repeat is the sum of horizontal and vertical repeat):

4-12" repeat: +10% fabric
13-19" repeat: +15% fabric
20-27" repeat: +20% fabric
28-36" repeat: +50% fabric
> 36? repeat: +100% fabric

Verify whether individual product listings in the price schedule call for greater allowances for this additional yardage. If additional labor is required because of unique characteristics of the fabric, a special quote will be required. All COM/COL requirements are based on whole pieces of material; split shipments are not allowed. We are not responsible for COM/COL upholstery wear, defects, or its appropriateness. Our pricing includes labor for applying fabric and are based on applying only one type of color way of fabric per item of furniture, with no specific relationship between the pattern or weave of the fabric and the configuration of the item of furniture. COL pricing must be used when specifying vinyl, or when specifying multiple fabrics on a single product.

Your purchase order for furniture must include an upholstery specification that has been approved by Tuohy. Our quoted delivery dates run from the date on which we receive your material. Excess fabric will not be returned or stored unless specifically requested in writing with your order; freight to be collect.
